Als alles goed gaat morgen (lees: ik geraak op tijd uit mijn bed :p), breng ik een bezoek aan FOSDEM.



Maar wat is FOSDEM?

FOSDEM is een gratis en niet commercieële gebeurtenis geörganiseerd voor de community en door de community. Het doel is een plaats te organiseren waar ontwikkelaars van Free and Open Source software elkaar kunnen ontmoeten. Belangrijkste punten hierbij zijn:



  • in contact komen met andere programmeurs en projecten
  • meer informatie krijgen over de laatste ontwikkelingen in de Free and Open Source wereld
  • bijwonen van interessante gesprekken en presentaties gehouden in grote conferentie zalen. Deze gesprekken worden gevoerd door Free and Open Source project leiders en kunnen gaan over verscheidene onderwerpen
  • ...natuurlijk ook de promotie van ontwikkeling van Free and Open Source software
